Outside, the city’s distant buzz contrasted sharply with the hushed silence inside the studio. The countdown clock ticked down in silence, eyes fixed on the screen. The seconds seemed to stretch into eternity. Finally, the countdown timer blinked down to zero. The cameras rolled on cue, capturing the moment. The host’s voice, smooth yet tinged with excitement, cut through the silence….
